I managed to finish the community center during the first year which meant that I always had very little money. I've played through this game a few times now and my current playthrough has been based on my previous experience with how the game works. How on earth do you find the time to get everything done? I'm nearly a year in and have barely interacted with the villagers. I never did get back to playing this game and I'm just about ready too. I honestly can't remember how visible some of this stuff is or how long it took me, but if I was to start all over again (again) it's what I'd concentrate on.Īlso, one of the slowest things to do is make friends with everyone, so it's worth spreading the love (some folk are much harder to find than others, so try to target them whenever you can.) It's not essential, but there are a few unlocks here and there that make it worth doing. Some of the requirements are seasonal, so getting that sorted this time around could save you a whole year. The main thing for me would be to push through the Community Centre quests which unlock a ton of really good stuff (or Joja Mart if you're doing it that way - although I forget how that compares). Upgrading your tools is also good - it'll be a long while before you have more wood or stone than you can deal with, so the easier it is to get them the better (it also unlocks other stuff too). Sprinklers will change your life, so definitely a good goal. I'm planning on pushing down the mines during winter to get gold so I can make sprinklers in time for spring. Is there anything specific that I should be doing that would help? can and pickaxe are both at iron. House upgraded once. I have two silos of hay ready for winter. I'm working my way down the mines (Currently at level 50). I've been converting a lot of my fruits and veggies to jams/preserves. I've got four chickens that I use to make mayo. Currently halfway through fall in year 1.
